How the program has supported you
The objective of the project was to reuse yeast cell from previous brewing batch and pitch it into the new batch. The fund was used towards buyin microscope slides. This allowed us to count how many cells were alive and therefore determined how much of the old yeast we had to pitch back in.
Outcomes
The outcome of the project was a sucessful batch using old yeast cell. This project developed many skills for the team member. Thi include microscope skills, cell counting skills and concentration calculation skills.
