The American Society of Civil Engineers holds the Pacific Northwest Student Symposium annually at a school from a rotating group of 15 universities in BC and the northwestern US. This year’s iteration was hosted by UBC ASCE and included concrete canoe, steel bridge, water treatment and sustainable solutions competitions.
